GOA ......

I was in GOA on 1st/2nd 3rd and 4th on dec 07 and can't really describe fun we had in this place. So happening everywhere, nice and relaxed beahes, water sports, drinks, discs and to complement all that superb sea food what else you need for some great time in your holidays.

GOA is quite well coneected to all parts of India, You can take flights from all metros and big cities to GOA, or if you like to travel by train I'll suggest taking a ride in Kankan Railways from Mumbai to GOA. You can Drive or you can take ferrys as well from Mumbai to GOA. Anyways I took flight from Bangalore to GOA.

Mudgaon the place where we stayed is in outer skirts of Goa. Baga and Bagator beach were quite near to this place about 15 miles I guess. I was told nov to jan is ideal time to visit Goa and if you are planning to celeberate new year in Goa you need to book well in advance.

Sumit's Wedding took place on 2nd dec 07 and it was an experience for me to witness a Goan style wedding. Food was delicious and people were very hospitable and friendly. coconut is essential part of all goan dishes. Cashew is the main local product. They make a local drink as well from Cashew call Fanny.

To summarise I must say I very much enjoyed my stay in goa, with Vivek and Sachin it was more fun as they new all wherabouts ;). would really like to celeberate anew year there.
