Dublin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dublin) and Belfast(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belfast) , were two cities I covered in August this year, yeah quite late in updating the blog. We took Rynair (ya ya whine about them being cheap or whatever) flights to Belfast from London, and drove in a hired car from Belfast to Dublin. It took us all in all around 4 hours to reach Dublin from London via Belfast. As soon as you reach Dublin you realize that you are not in Britain anymore, you can hear cars blowing horns more often then in London ;). People were full of warmth and energy. People are religious about Guinness (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guinness) in Ireland, and yes never ask for a Guinness sandy, it's a sin and if you do then be ready for the consequences. Guinness is brewed in Dublin, and you wouldn’t want to miss the chance to see the brewery, and it is worth a visit. The other drink you do want to try in Dublin is Irish coffee(It basically coffee with whisky in it), well being an Indian it was hard for me to develop a test for it but it's worth a try.
After a day of wondering around in Dublin we drove back to Belfast, and went Chintu's sisters for night stay. We were welcomed with nice food and drinks, It was there I came to know about pear cider and believe me it was nice. Next day we explored Belfast. There is a big wheel similar to London Eye in Belfast as well. To our disappointment it rained whole day :( and we couldn't do much then sitting in a cafe and having Irish coffee.
